Soizick is a New Zealand trained Medical Oncologist with expertise in the care of patients with breast cancer.
Following a Master of Science with First Class Honours, Soizick completed her medical training at the University of Auckland and became a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2016. She undertook a clinical research fellowship in oncology at the Gustave Roussy Institute, an integrated cancer centre of excellence in Paris, France.
Soizick currently works as a Medical Oncologist specialising in breast cancer at Harbour Cancer & Wellness, Auckland City Hospital and North Shore Hospital. She is committed to providing cancer patients with the best possible care in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. She carefully considers the individual needs of patients and their families, practicing with compassion and clear communication.
Soizick was awarded the Goldman Sachs New Zealand Foundation Clinical Fellowship Grant and Genesis Oncology Trust Murray Jackson Fellowship for research work evaluating the genomic and immune profiles of gynaecological cancers, with the ultimate goal of improving outcomes for women diagnosed with these cancers. This work was recognised internationally by the American Society of Clinical Oncology with the Conquer Cancer Merit Award.
Soizick also has experience in palliative care and symptom control, and has completed a post-graduate Clinical Diploma in Palliative Medicine.
