We are excited to offer all Harbour patients (and anyone in your bubble!) a free online yoga class led by our oncology physiotherapist Candice Kitt this Tuesday (31st March) at 10.30 am.
This class will be live and a great way to connect and support each other during this difficult time. We will be running the class via Zoom, a free video-conferencing platform. To access Zoom, you will need a smartphone, iPad or a laptop/computer.
How do I join the class on Tuesday?
Press this link on Tuesday morning to join the Zoom class: https://zoom.us/j/877046079?
When you click on the link, if you don’t already have Zoom downloaded, you will be asked permission to run and download the programme on your device. In preparation you may wish to pre-download Zoom before the class.
If you can’t make the class, we will post a recording onto our private Facebook group called Harbour Fitness Group.
If you have any difficulties joining on Tuesday, please call Mollie on 0211545392, and she will try to help you as best she can.
I’ve never done yoga before, can I still join?
Yes, we encourage any of our patients to join in. This gentle class will give you some helpful tools for staying healthy and managing anxiety during the next few weeks.
What can I expect from the class?
This class will guide you through a gentle therapeutic practice focusing on movement with the breath to assist with de-stressing and relaxing the body.
What will I need for the class?
– a yoga mat (or a towel)
– pillow for your head (or rolled up bath towel)
– a belt, strap or anything you can use around the house (scarf, pants belt etc.)
We can’t wait for you to join us, if you have any questions about the class, please don’t hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
In the meantime – you can also join our private Facebook group named Harbour Fitness Group.
